How much does it cost to hire you?
Nothing up front. We work on a contingency fee, so our fee comes out of what we recover for you. We also pay all case expenses up front. If we don’t recover money for you, you owe nothing: no fee and no expenses.
I'm on workers comp. Can I still file a lawsuit?
Often, yes. Workers’ comp usually doesn’t stop you from suing a third party, such as an equipment maker, contractor, trucking company or site owner. If a worker was killed by an employer’s gross negligence, Texas law also lets certain family members seek punitive damages from that employer.
My employer doesn’t carry workers’ comp. Can I still sue?
Yes. Texas employers who opt out of workers’ comp are called nonsubscribers. If a nonsubscriber’s negligence caused your injury, you can sue them directly, and the law takes away several of their key defenses.
My loved one was killed at work. What can our family do?
