Wesley Gould is a board-certified personal injury trial lawyer, licensed to practice in all Texas State Courts and Federal Courts. He is also licensed to practice law in the State of Georgia. Gould has tried over 30 cases to verdict as either first or co-chair in both state and federal courts, receiving verdicts and settlements totaling tens of millions of dollars for his clients throughout his career and is often brought in as trial counsel to litigate or try complex personal injury matters throughout the country.
Wesley routinely handles high-exposure injury matters that range from simple to complex, has argued routine and dispositive motions in both state and federal courts throughout Texas, drafted and argued appeals in intermediary appellate courts, and has taken and defended hundreds of fact and expert witness depositions. Additionally, he has tried over 30 cases to verdict as either first or co-chair in both state and federal courts.
Outside of work, Wesley enjoys spending time with his wife, Ashley Gould—a partner at a nation AMLaw 100 firm—and his four kids. Whether mastering his craft as an amateur backyard chef or pretending he knows how to hike, Wesley finds appreciation in being present for his family and raising his children to be the good they want to see in the world.
As a testament to his legal acumen and community engagement, Wesley was the 2019 recipient of the John Howie Award for Legal Excellence in the Face of Adversity, holds titles for top 50 and top 100 jury verdicts across all practice areas in the State of Texas for 2020, is recognized for securing a top 10 settlement in Texas for 2022, and currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association. Wesley is also regularly called upon as a legal news correspondent by media agencies to provide his legal opinion on issues affecting the DFW community.
